The Mountain Pass gives visitors a day’s entrance to all slopes at the Madarao Mountain Resort and the directly adjacent Tangram Ski Circus for the affordable price of 5,500yen. These 50 courses include 15 tree-runs, a well-known natural powder half-pipe, an exciting snow park and a variety of other beginner, intermediate and advanced courses.

Alongside English-speaking staff, Madarao also offers a wide-range of ski schools, guided backcountry ski tours and other outings with English-speaking guides.
As opposed to Hokkaido which often suffers from freezing slopes, Nagano maintains the perfect temperature to support the best powder snow. The ski-in, ski-out style of Madarao and Tangram Resorts allow visitors to be at the slopes in under a minute for easy access to all the fun.
