An Dining was born from the master chef’s experience as a multi award-winning chef in Australia and his deep understanding of Hokkaido’s long connection with food through World famous local produce, Ainu indigenous people and neighbouring countries. With fine dining, cafe and bar options, An dining caters to a variety of palates, including options for vegetarians, vegans and other dietary restrictions. Their Cafe and Bar also takes great pride in the quality of their espresso coffee through the use of premium coffee beans and experienced baristas. This is a rare find in the drip-coffee dominated culture of Japan. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, enjoy a wide variety of meals made from local Hokkaido produce while taking in the beautiful scenery of Mt. Yotei.

Apart from their beloved cuisine, An Dining is also the first and only ginger beer brewery in Japan. The ginger beer is made with organic ingredients which come from the restaurant’s own organic farm. They develop a variety of different ginger beer using organic, Hokkaido-grown Haskap berries, Japanese plums, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and cassis. Order is available online but unfortunately only for domestic shipping at the moment, creating yet another fantastic reason that travellers cannot miss out on experiencing An Dining while in Hokkaido.
